Maxx Harvest

Fishers' Maxx Yield seaweed products are sustainably harvested from the coastal areas of the Gulf of Mexico along the Texas shoreline. We carefully hand-select these crops in an eco-friendly manner, ensuring that our harvesting practices support the thriving Coastal Marine Wildlife. Each year, massive blooms of Sargassum and Kelp Seaweeds wash ashore along the Southeast Region of the United States, providing a consistent and abundant supply of raw material. We view this as a purge of excess of the Earths waters as a gift with the intention of re-use in an environmentally friendly manner.

Our harvesting practices strictly adhere to regional regulations to protect the environment. After collection, the seaweed is thoroughly washed, sun-dried, and then fermented for a full calendar year. This natural fermentation process ensures proper decomposition and microbial production without the use of chemicals or artificial heating, preserving the seaweed's nutritional value.

At Fishers' Maxx Yield, we believe that time and natural processes are key to producing a high-quality, eco-friendly product that benefits the entire ecological system

WHY SEAWEED

Many regions worldwide view the abundance of fresh seaweed along their shorelines as a nuisance. The accumulation of seaweed on beaches and coastal areas can lead to significant issues, such as foul odors, bacterial growth, and a decline in tourism. These are common challenges for islands and coastal communities when large quantities of seaweed wash ashore. However, we are delighted to present a solution to what others may perceive as a problem. Various species of seaweed are rich in essential nutrients that are beneficial not only to agricultural life but also offer numerous nutritional advantages for humans.

Like any other crop, when properly treated, cared for, and harvested within nature's boundaries, it will provide the essentials for which it was universally intended. At Fishers' Maxx Yield, Sea Kelp and Sargassum are two of our crops that offer numerous benefits essential for sustainable regenerative agriculture.

Sea kelp is a rich source of various nutrients, including essential minerals, vitamins, and amino acids. When added to the soil, it can enhance the nutrient profile, making these elements more readily available to plants. Many farmers and gardeners use sea kelp-based fertilizers to boost crop yields. Improved nutrient uptake and plant health can result in higher harvests.

Sargassum seaweed can be used as a natural fertilizer in agriculture. It is rich in essential nutrients, such as nitrogen, potassium, and trace minerals, which can improve soil fertility and promote plant growth.
